Dynamic Sky, Dynamic World

My wife and I live in Sedona, Arizona, and we often have dramatic weather around us - clouds and sun blending in land, sky, and water. The two-story windows in our living room give us a unique perspective for absorbing ourselves in this particular scenery - they are like having nature's presence in our home.

In this picture these three presences combine these living presence of nature's dynamic light and darkness, the foreground trees, and the snow-dusted rocky crags in the background. It's like a painting, or like a living stage that calls to honor this extraordinary moment.

Just as this living scene creates beauty and magesty, it also calls to imagining my own inner beauty and magesty. I invite you to explore your own sense of nature's divinity and beauty.

Another aspect of this image makes it a very important aspect of making images like this. Since I always have an iPhone in my pocket, I can often capture beautiful images easily, and this one is particularly beautiful - we were able to see the dusting of snow on the ridges and the reds of the sunset clouds that have a three dimensional majesty.
